How to save money on workers’ comp
Use these quick tips to lower your rates.
Keeping your workers’ compensation rates low doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. Small actions can make a meaningful difference. SAIF created a new series of short videos highlighting steps you can take to help save you money.
Timely filing: Forgetting to file a claim on time can cost you money and delay getting workers the assistance they need. Fill out the 801 form and submit it as soon as possible so SAIF can deliver benefits promptly and accurately.

Injury prevention: Oregon businesses with 11 or more employees are required to have a safety committee, and businesses with 10 or fewer employees are required to hold regular safety meetings. Identifying workplace hazards can help reduce injuries, protecting your workers and your bottom line.
