2019 calendar: Exploring Oregon
From a predawn soak in a desert hot spring to a marshmallow roast at the coast, SAIF’s 2019 calendar features Oregonians at work and play.
Come along with us on a perfect day in Oregon.
We’ll start with a predawn soak in a steamy desert hot spring, followed by a sunrise trek on snowy Cascade trails. We can catch wind in the Columbia Gorge before lunch; tour a brewery, pick a pint of berries, or soak up local history in the afternoon; and end our day with roasted marshmallows and campfire songs at the coast.
As Oregonians, we're lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. And the secret (if it ever was one) is out.
Nearly 30 million people visit Oregon each year. The Oregon travel industry employs more than 112,000 people and pumps nearly $12 billion into the state economy. And it isn’t just Oregon cities that benefit. In rural counties, tourism rivals agriculture and logging as one of the top three export-oriented industries.
