Providing training is an important SAIF service to producers, which in turn improves the effectiveness of the workers' compensation system for everyone.

SAIF is a continuing education provider. Many of our courses are registered with the state Insurance Division for agent continuing education credit hours. Registration of courses does not imply endorsement by the Insurance Division.

    Generations and work styles [CEC REG]

    The workforce is filled with people of all skill levels, working styles, and generational perspectives. To ensure a dynamic and safe work environment that transcends these differences, strategic knowledge-sharing becomes a top priority. In this session, we learn about the four work styles, along with generational differences and similarities. We focus on how to use this knowledge to enhance communication and provide a workplace that is inclusive, diverse, and most of all fun for everyone.

    Ethics, success, happiness: cause and effect
    Pressures can lead to unethical behavior. This class gets to the root of these issues, discussing ways to be successful which can relieve the financial and insecurity pressures, overcoming self-esteem issues that can also lead to unethical behavior. Lunch will be provided for this session.  
    Course approved for 3 Ethics CEC's.


    Walk like an underwriter: Underwriting 101
    This course will summarize Parts I and II of the standard policy and introduce some common endorsements. Next, the course will develop standard premium and identify common loss calculations. The course will conclude with the three elements of exposure analysis (operations, hazards, controls).
