Cultivating safety: SAIF’s 2025-2026 agriculture safety seminars return across Oregon

Free statewide trainings empower farm communities with life-saving knowledge.

SAIF’s 28th year of agriculture safety seminars begin this fall in 16 cities across the state. These free trainings will begin in November 2025 and run through March 2026. Ten of the trainings are conducted entirely in Spanish.

Although the seminars are designed for owners, operators, supervisors, and foremen, anyone working in the agricultural industry is welcome to attend. Small agricultural employers attending the seminar will meet one of the four requirements that exempt small ag operations from random OSHA inspections.

Four continuing education credits are available from the Landscape Contractors Board and producer credits are pending approval by the DCBS.
