AOI and OBA to merge
The new organization, yet to be named, becomes effective July 1.
On November 16, 2016, Associated Oregon Industries (AOI) and Oregon Business Association (OBA) voted to merge.
The new association will become effective July 1, 2017. In the meantime, the two organizations will begin to merge policy committees and staffing during the operational transition. The new organization will have mutual responsibility for the Oregon Business Plan with the Oregon Business Council and Portland Business Alliance.
SAIF looks forward to continuing our long partnership with AOI as it transitions to the new organization. The SAIF/AOI OGSERP (discount) plans will continue with the same eligibility and underwriting criteria as in the past.
