SAIF is Oregon’s not-for-profit workers’ compensation provider.
Workers’ compensation insurance (often called “workers’ comp”) provides benefits for workers who are injured as a result of their work. By law, Oregon employers must carry workers' compensation insurance or be self-insured. Workers’ compensation insurance protects workers by paying for medical treatment and lost wages, and it protects employers by shielding them from liability lawsuits that might result from work-related injuries or illnesses.

Rochelle Null, Regional Operations Director
Rochelle is a native Oregonian and lives with her husband and two boys in Aurora. She has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years, the first decade of her career was spent at an independent insurance agency working in their personal and commercial lines departments. She started at SAIF in 2003 and has served our policyholders in various capacities including as an Insurance Representative, Senior Account Representative, Return-to-work Supervisor, and most recently as our Service Center Operations Manager before she was promoted to her current position in 2022.
Rochelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management & Leadership from Portland State University and an Oregon property and casualty insurance license. She served as a special committee member for the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds in 2018 and 2019. She also graduated from the Portland Business Alliance’s Leadership Portland Program in 2022.
