SAIF expands work on Total Worker Health®

The recent addition of a Total Worker Health® consultant enables us to bring the beneficial program to more employers and workers.

SAIF is expanding its work in Total Worker Health® (TWH) with the addition of Sabrina Freewynn. As our Total Worker Health® consultant, Sabrina will work alongside Deb Fell-Carlson, our policyholder safety and wellness adviser.

Sabrina comes to SAIF from the Oregon Health Authority/Public Health Division, where she's been overseeing grant programs with counties, tribes, and coordinated care organizations that focus on reducing chronic diseases.

She has a master's degree in public health from Portland State University along with a bachelor's degree in sociology and anthropology.

"I'm excited to be part of a mission-driven organization that values worker health and has the drive to make it happen," said Sabrina. "I'm looking forward to applying my expertise and learning even more about creating communities that provide opportunities for Oregonians to be healthy and fulfilled."

Sabrina is based in Salem so she can work closely with our safety consultants to expand the use of Total Worker Health principles and best practices and help make Oregon workers and workplaces safer and healthier.

Sabrina was raised in southern Utah with a love of the outdoors, a passion for learning, a scientific curiosity, and "red rock in her bones." She loves traveling locally and has visited every county in Oregon exploring food, hiking, and scenery, and having conversations with locals--not always about health and wellness.
