Omar’s Restaurant

Ashland’s oldest restaurant is serving up its specialty: high-quality food with a cozy atmosphere.

When original owners Omer and Hazel Hill started their restaurant in 1946, the sign delivered for the building had a misspelling. Instead of sending it back, Omer and Hazel decided to keep it. The restaurant has been named Omar’s ever since.

A lot has changed since then, but Ashland’s oldest restaurant is still serving up its specialty: high-quality steaks and seafood that are locally sourced whenever possible. Coupled with a cozy atmosphere and attentive staff, it’s not hard to understand why patrons keep coming back for more.
