Oregonians invited to be part of state’s 150th birthday

Oregon celebrates its 150th birthday on February 14, 2009, and state leaders already have created a list of party activities.
Governor Ted Kulongoski and the board of "Oregon 150" are enthusiastically encouraging all Oregonians to participate in the celebration. Citizens can get information about activities and events, share their dreams for Oregon's future, volunteer, and much more at www.Oregon150.org.
SAIF and state agencies will be involved in a number of ways, including a massive community improvement volunteer effort called "Take Care of Oregon" Day on May 16, 2009.
