The Oregon State Senate on May 6 unanimously confirmed the reappointments of Catherine Travis and Robb Van Cleave to the SAIF board of directors.
Travis, a retired business attorney and arbitrator, has served on the SAIF board since 2005 and is currently the board's vice-chair.
Van Cleave is mayor of The Dalles as well as chief talent and strategy officer for Columbia Gorge Community College. He also has served on the SAIF board since 2005.
Both were originally appointed by Governor Ted Kulongoski, and reappointed by him last month. Their new terms expire in 2013.
"I am very pleased that Cathy and Robb will continue to serve on the SAIF board for another four years," said Brenda Rocklin, SAIF president and CEO. "They are both hard-working board members, who ask thoughtful questions and keep me on my toes.
"Cathy, Robb, and the other three members of the board are all citizen volunteers who receive no compensation for their service. We are very lucky to have the benefit of their expertise."
