SAIF Corporation has been selected as the 2010 EarthWISE Certified Business of the Year.
The award is given for outstanding efforts in continually reducing our environmental bottom line and progress on EarthWISE criteria. SAIF first received EarthWISE certification in 2008 by meeting several requirements in environmental sustainability.
EarthWISE-certified businesses are committed to working toward sustainability and have documented efforts to refine their practices to protect the environment and community.
There were more than 60 EarthWISE certified businesses in Marion County eligible for nomination for the award. The award was sponsored by Friends of Straub Environmental Learning Center, Marion County Environmental Services, and Garten Services.
