SAIF Corporation has added a new application, Medical Bill Search, to its Business Online Medical Provider information. This allows providers who directly bill SAIF for medical services to view the status and payment details of bills, including:
- Date SAIF received the bill
- Payment amount
- Check number
- Payment issue date
- Contact information for claims adjuster
You can also print a detailed Explanation of Benefits, and bills will be searchable by a variety of criteria:
- Claim number
- Dates of service
- Worker name
- Date of birth
- SAIF bill ID number
- Provider location

Using the new application will help cut the number of times you need to call SAIF or resubmit bills because you aren't sure whether or not SAIF has received them.
You can find Medical Bill Search at Business Online after re-registering. This is necessary even if you are already registered for Business Online. New to the registration process is your ability to self-register, setting up your own ID and password. Now you can access the system immediately without mailing paperwork to SAIF and waiting for a call-back. To register, you will need your Tax Identification Number, a SAIF claim number, and a SAIF bill ID number from an Explanation of Benefits document that has been issued in the past 90 days.
