Every business should have an emergency action plan and a fire prevention plan, but it’s even more critical for businesses that handle fuel and other flammable materials. Oregon law requires all businesses with 10 or more employees to have written plans for emergency response and fire prevention. We think every business should have written plans in case of emergency.
Review these plans regularly with your employees, and be sure they know the locations of any potentially hazardous or flammable materials at work.
