Seminar overview
Our 2007-2008 agricultural safety training series has concluded. Please check back in October to see the new 2008-2009 training schedule.
Unsafe equipment? Bad fortune? No, actually, it's a series of predictable human behaviors that ultimately result in most of the injuries to agricultural workers in Oregon. Addressing this challenge will be a big part of SAIF's annual agricultural safety seminar series.
The FREE four-hour seminar is designed primarily for owners, operators, supervisors and foremen, but anyone working in the agricultural industry is welcome to attend. Twenty-four seminars in 16 cities throughout Oregon will be held between October and March. Four seminars will be conducted entirely in Spanish.
Small agricultural employers attending the seminar will meet one of the four requirements that exempt small agricultural establishments from random OSHA inspections. Attending this seminar meets the instructional requirement.
For additional information regarding these seminars, please contact SAIF at 800.285.8525.
