Seminar overview
This training opportunity is the "next step" in the ergonomic assessor skill-building sessions offered for our State Agency partners. The workshop will include both instruction and brainstorming sessions.
The main objective of this training session is for you to leave with new ideas for resolving unique office ergonomic challenges. Areas of emphasis will include:
- Identifying risk factors (posture, force, frequency, and duration)
- Understanding various medical conditions (Tendonitis, Epicondylitis, Tenosynovitis, De Quervain's Disease, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome)
- Reviewing challenges related to employee workflow
- Problem-solving for unique ergonomic exposures

Notes: Requires supervisor approval.
Prerequisite:
- Received "Certificate of Completion" from the Office Ergonomic Assessor Training course provided by SAIF, or ability to show competency in conducting office ergonomic assessments.
