Seminar overview
This training opportunity is the "next step" in the ergonomic assessor skill building sessions offered for our State Agency partners. The workshop will include 2 hours of instruction and a 1 hour brainstorming session.
The main objective of this training session is for participants to leave with new ideas for resolving unique office ergonomic challenges. Areas of emphasis will include:
- Identifying Risk Factors (Posture, Force, Frequency, and Duration)
- Understanding various medical conditions (Tendonitis, Epicondylitis, Tenosynovitis, De Quervain's Disease, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome)
- Reviewing challenges related to employee workflow
- Problem solving for unique ergonomic exposures

Notes: Requires supervisor approval.
Prerequisite:
- Received "Certificate of Completion" from the Office Ergonomic Assessor Training course provided by SAIF Corporation or ability to show competency in conducting office ergonomic assessments.
