SAIF Corporation, in partnership with Risk Management, Department of Administrative Services, is pleased to offer this two-day basic curriculum on injury prevention and workers' compensation cost containment. Developed after the Department of Administrative Service's Loss Management Series, this two day workshop will provide fundamental, up-to-date training on the key elements of safety systems and workers' compensation cost control. Additionally, you will hear directly from Risk Management, Department of Administrative Services about the state's Safety and Wellness Leadership Initiative and the innovative approach to drastically reduce injuries within state agencies.
This two-day basic workshop is designed exclusively for state agencies. If you are a new safety advisor or human resource specialist dealing with safety or workers' compensation claims, this workshop is for you. Or, if you are looking for a refresher course on workers' compensation fundamentals you will want to join us. Attendance at both days is highly recommended.
You will learn how to effectively manage a workers' compensation claim including timely reporting, filing, accident analysis, and return-to-work.
