Terrorism and catastrophic events

Extraterritorial coverage

Your SAIF policy covers many situations where you send an Oregon worker to another state to work. It also provides coverage for some workers you bring into Oregon.

Subcontractor coverage

Subcontractors may be considered your subject workers for premium and claim purposes unless they are independently established in business and meet certain conditions.

Public entity volunteers

Volunteers working for public entities such as cities or school districts are not automatically covered by the entity's workers' compensation policy.
